After watching Gov. DeSantis rip the media’s coverage of Florida’s handling of the coronavirus, I thought I’d put together a thread of just how garbage that coverage was.

CNN would never build a network around race-baiting!
I wrote about how it’s not just Tucker Carlson race-baiting at Fox. While Carlson might be more overt about it than most of his colleagues, what he does fits neatly into the broader theme pushed by Fox as a network. cnn.com/2021/07/23/media/fox…

Holy hell. @feliciasonmez's lawsuit against the Washington Post. "Defendants enacted another coverage ban with no expiration date, disciplined Ms. Sonmez and chastised her for trying to be the 'star' of her own sexual assault." s3.documentcloud.org/documen…

Media Matters frauds are at it again, selectively editing video to mislead & spread their lies. Tucker cited data from "a bunch of different countries" after showing the UK Chief Science Advisor saying 40% of hospitalizations are coming from double vaccinated people.
This asshole is now saying that COVID isnt disproportionately effecting the unvaccinated. Just straight up saying its a lie

Remember when NYTimes staffers claimed an op-ed in their pages made them unsafe? I wonder how pipeline workers feel after Ezra Klein dropped a column tacitly endorsing (or at the very least, not opposing) pipeline bombings. nytimes.com/2021/07/15/opini…

This afternoon, I was contacted by a producer at a network news show asking if I wanted to be interviewed about "the new CDC school and mask guidance." I readily agreed. 🧵

Dear @Comcast & @Toyota: @ProjectLincoln’s 🏴‍☠️ ship of leaders harbored co-founder John Weaver, who used his official position in this SuperPAC to (1) trade sex for jobs; and (2) sexually prey on a 14-year old. Don’t let these sexual predators, bullies, and grifters prey on you.
.@Comcast is refusing to air this ad — opting instead to shield corporate advertisers. Comcast, like @Toyota, is prioritizing their bottom line over supporting and defending democracy. Send Comcast a message and share this video. We will not be deterred.

Now that the explosive claim of the Biden admin spying on Tucker Carlson and leaking against him has been confirmed in multiple ways by Axios, worth remembering how some folks dismissed the possibility. thefederalist.com/2021/07/07…

I’m sure if the Intelligence Community under @RichardGrenell was accused of spying on or illegally unmasking a CNN host, all the DC reporters would totally be giving him and the IC the benefit of the doubt. 🙄🙄🙄
The Biden admin needs to explain why Tucker was unmasked. Every DC reporter would be setting their hair on fire over this if it happened to a CNN, NYT or WaPo employee. Tucker Carlson sought interview with Putin at time of NSA spying claim axios.com/tucker-carlson-put…

Replying to @davidfolkenflik
It's a crime to leak this, David, even if the collection was incidental. Why would they unmask his identity if it were just incidental, and how is it justified to leak the contents of his communications to the media?

Everyone point and laugh at the journos who said Tucker was lying.
New: Tucker Carlson was talking to U.S.-based Kremlin intermediaries about setting up an interview with Putin shortly before he accused the NSA of spying on him. U.S. gov't officials learned of this outreach ... but that's where details get cloudy. axios.com/tucker-carlson-put…
